Paul is a self taught artist who describes his work as a modern view through his experiences and perception of perspective and movement found in buildings of all ages.His fascination with
history and style of architectures form the basis of many of his landscapes, which are produced
often spontaneously.He has produced oil and large watercolours but tends to enjoy the former
as they are his direct link with hand eye and force quick descisions on paper that might otherwise be lost. He continues to develop his style.
Educated at Berkhamsted school Herts.Paul is a trained occupational Psychologist to post-grad Masters level.: studying at the OU and later Uel London.
Earlier he worked as interior designer in London,designing Unilever Chairmans sitting room, Hong Kong Bank amongst others. He was invited to draw and paint the buildings for the National Trust Holiday homes brochure in 1989.
His recent commissions include “The Mermaid Inn,Rye” for the joint proprietors,and private houses in Kent and Sussex.
